Glad to see someone picked up on St. Vitus.  I always wanted to call a band "The St. Vitus Dance Band"; either too cool or too obscure.  Way to go!
Heads up, everybody!

Yes Wino, great guy, great sound.  Uses fuzzes to get the main distortion (and stuck-wahs), The Hidden Hand album is great.  There is another project that he is working on too, not sure of that name.  Runs the Model T into Hiwatt cabinets (might be getting an old Orange one soon too).

Wino only ever played guitar on a couple of St Vitus tracks, Dave Chandler would never let him play, as he was brought in only as the singer!

Wino only "guested" on one Clearlight track (Buzzard Hill - featured on the split EP with Acid King).

He only played on one Place of Skulls album "With Vision". PoS is/was Victor Griffin's post Pentagram band.

He has used Model T's, as well as HiWatts and some Marshall's. But mainly bi-amped Model T's.

Please elaborate.

I'm not sure of the process of bi-amping myself, but basically you are running two heads, one into the other into one or two cabs to get a really thick overdrive sound. If you overdrive the 1st head's preamp stage, output that into the preamp of the 2nd head, loop that back into the 1st head which then goes on to drive the 1st head's power valves to create a mean & nasty overdriven sound. I think you may need an attenuator of some sorts on the 2nd head to run that into a dummy load so as not to damage your amp.

I think...

the reissue model t's actually had an output on the back for this and the owners manual said it was so you could link model t's together, never tried it though, although i did play out of two once at the same time, one through a marshall 2x15 and one through a sunn 4x12, it was pretty f-ing loud

I Met wino back when he was touring with sprit caravan. that dude is total down to earth and not to mention way nice. He put a friend of mined on his guest list for a show the next night.  Wino has been in or participated in a lot of good bands. there is a great video interveiw in the Such Hawks Such Hounds DVD. That gut truly loves his peppers :-D  anyway there are shots of him with his model T in the back ground.  Great guy, good Doc.

That band you may be thinking of is shrinebuilder. It also has dudes from the Melvins, Neurosis, and Sleep I had heard that their debut is coming out some time this year. I can't wait to hear it.
