Buddha Machine?
« on: October 04, 2010, 01:38:54 pm »
Okay, I give up.

What are these things, and why would I need one, want one or even be remotely interested in having one?

Will it make me any younger or dump my extra weight?

Warmest...

buddha machines are hand held loop players that play ambient drones. they were inspired by the chants of buddhist monks, and can help in preparing the mind for meditation.  you may be interested in having one because a meditative state is required for yoga, a practice that could help dump extra weight and make you feel younger

Yea but why would someone really want one of these?

Guess since I'm not a monk and I'm not into doom metal I just don't get it.  :?

to be honest, i'd never buy one and i dont know anyone who would.  seems like a waste of money haha.
its probably meant for the "non-musician", it's kind of a cool concept but nothing anyone couldnt recreate with a few electro harmonics pedals
