118MH + SUPER RARE CAB : FOR SALE - OHIO
« on: April 09, 2008, 07:38:20 am »
I am selling two bass cabinets. Bought them together and would like to sell them together if possible. I was only able to identify one of the cabinets via the SUNN museum online. It's a 118MH, has an 18" speaker inside and can clearly "respond down to frequencies below bass guiar fundamentals." The speaker hasn't left my basement since I bought it, never brought it to a gig, although I do regret that because of it being such a fantastic cabinet.

The other speaker, I can not find online ANYWHERE, I assume it was made around the same time, late 70s/early 80s. It has a 15 inch speaker angled up, with a smaller horn speaker on top. I gigged occasionally with just this cabinet, but at home played through both.

Will gladly take offers.Very flexible!

no pic of the 118, but its exactly how it looks in the pic on the museum site.

heres  alink to the other speaker, which is a MODEL 9 PA speaker, i was told. Still a killer addition to the 118...

the white cloth seen is dampening a loose screw, can be fixed with a very cheap purchase of a nail at your local hardware store.
