Looking to sell my '82 Sunn Coliseum-300 Bass Head and SPL 2x15 bass cabinet. Both are in excellent condition.  And it's plenty loud enough piss off your wife, like it does mine!

I don't know how much the cabinet weighs, but it's alot. I'm the second owner of this rig, and the first guy didn't use it for gigging, so it's without the typical road wear, but there is a very small, 4" abrasion on the top of the cabinet from a no-good, mean, nasty cat that is no longer causing trouble for anyone.

I have some photos (http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/msg/969881027.html) so let me know if you're interested.

I'm in Phoenix, and obviously local delivery simplifies things, but I am willing to ship for whatever the cost is (no b.s. "handling" costs).

Interesting... I just got done going over the 1982 Sunn Catalog for the Sunn Catalog thread. There were three 2x15's that year, the Beta 205, the 215B and the 215BH. Yours looks like a 215B except for the black baffle board and the grill cloth frame. It looks original because of the SPL logo in the lower left corner of the grill. No mention of the SPL option in the catalog.

Well, perhaps I wasn't clear.  The the original owner did some research that indicated that the head is an '82, but I'm not certain the cab is also '82.  Sorry if that was implied.

It is technically a 215B, but because of the upgraded SPL speakers, it is more commonly known as a 215SPL.  I don't believe the Betas or BHs were offered with SPLs.

I took some additional photos of the back of the head and cabinet, which I'd be glad to email on request.  Thanks for the interest...E207

Try this. In the first post you should see an icon in the title bar to the right of you user name that says Modify. Click that and edit the Title of the thread. Put Sold at the end or change the whole thing to something like Please Delete. I don't have privileges to move or delete anything.
