Title: 6X12 Internals - Sunn Guitar Transducers - Pics
Post by: bear on April 06, 2009, 10:41:42 pm
Please help me out with any knowledge you have about this cabinet.

I'm not sure on the wiring but I think it is series/parallel...?

The speakers are 12" Sunns but I don't know the wattage or impedance...?

I've read a lot on this forum and haven't find a sure answer about this.
They say Sunn Guitar Transducers and have 123-1 printed on the inside of the cone.
Other than that they say nothing.
After reading up, am I right that this cab is better for guitar not bass?

So I opened up my 6X12 cab and found:

I think this thing is a gem and I don't want to ruin it.
Weird how there is only foam along one side and bottom, or normal?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Normal on the foam. The idea is to keep sound from bouncing back and forth between parallel sides, and it's necessary to treat only one side of a pair for that.
