Hello,
I`m planning to build a Sunn Model T clone and so i´m looking for detailed inside pictures of a vintage one. Can anybody send me some nice and clear shots of his Model T`s guts????

I can't imagine that you could build one for less than you could buy one. Chassis and transofrmers are ridiculously expensive.

I agree about the latter. However the former ignores the... hype... uh... well, let's say "the insanity of Ebay" syndrome.
Issac... do you have an original Model T that you would sell Marshall (fake sunn emblem goes here) for around $200? If so, then you would be correct.

Wow, i must say that here in Germany Sunn Amps are really rare . I havn't seen one on Ebay for a couple of month now .
What is a good price for a vintage model T ??
thanks

You think he can build one for $200? I'd be surprised. Impressed, too!
No, I wouldn't sell mine for $200. Nor $500.

So what is a vintage Model T in good condition worth ??

Nah... $200 was just a wishful thinking ballpark for buying one cheaper than you could build.
$500 or more is what they seem to be going for, and at this price building is a cost effective option. I'm assuming circuit more than cosmetics.

Yes !! I'm impressed by the "Wall of Sound" these amps can deliver , the look is totally secondary for me .
I think i will wait until i get the chance to buy an original Model T and in the meantime i go on playing my Marshall JMP 2203 , which is also a killer amp !
thanks for the info

i'd love someone to build a model t and or120 clone in one. something with the best of both worlds. someone would have to get me a hooker so i could rid of the boner that amp would give me.

Here are some outside pictures.

When you say inside, how far inside are you talking? Tube layout? Actual wiring?

Yeah, you could build it... but it just wouldn't be one. You can't really replicate the "mojo".
