CONCERT BASS TECHNICAL SPEC

Hello, everyone.

I have a Concert Bass 200 head that I bought new way back in early 1975.  It's been sitting in my garage for most of the last 25 years, but now I want to bring it back into active service.  Can anyone tell me the Ohm rating so that I can determine the best kind of speakers to nuy, pleaese?

4 ohms should do it

Well my SS Concert bass is good safely down to 4 OHMS according to the user guide......actually my cabinet is rated at about 3.4 oms  and no ill effects like over heating, but I don't think I'd try 2,

I enjoy old Sunn stuff, tube and solid state, I have a Concert Bass, Concert slave, 1200s (4X6550, dual rectifier) Concert PA, Studio PA, and an old Acoustic 360 2X15 cab but with Sunn Speakers)

4 is right, handling a pair of 8 ohm speakers or four 16 ohm speakers

red knob (hartzell era) concert series amps are rated at 200 watts into a 4 ohm load.

 black original sunn manufactured concert series amps are rated at 150 watts into a 4 ohm load.

 i've run both at moderate, conservative levels into 2 ohms (4 8 ohm boxes connected 2 to output no. 1 and 2 to output no. 2 ) without trouble. that wall of boxes moved a hell of a lot of air!  :o
