200S preamp out

I'm thinking of using my concert slave with a 200S to get more volume, would it be best to wire a line out as has already been explained to me on this site or can I add a pre-amp out to the 200S? If so how would I do this? and wich way would give me the best tone?

I think a line out would be best. That way, the input to the slave most accurately reflects the output of the main amp.
