What cabinets are pictured here?...

Do you recognize the 4×12" cabinets in the circa 1981 picture below?
What can you tell me about them?
What kind are they?
What model are they?
What design are they?
What are they called?
When were they manufactured?
Were they custom made?
Are they discontinued?
Are they available?
What is the cabinet design called when the center of each speaker is wedged both 45º from the nearest side wall of the cabinet and 45º from the back wall of the cabinet on axis?
Did there used to be a grill cloth?
Can you tell me anything about the round speaker grills?

I assume that the 4x12 cabinets were loaded with Celestion speakers but, I'm more interested in the cabinets themselves.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for writing, Stan.  Yeah.  The number of questions is to both give everyone a good idea of the kind of information I'm looking for and to, hopefully, get people to say to themselves "I don't have the answer to some of these questions but, I can answer these."  I'm trying to get the clues that will lead me to the answer of exactly what 412 cabinets they are.
The picture is of Def Leppard's old rig. It's from some fan site.

  Hi there,I don't think they're Marshall cabs,unless they're a custom order.I'm thinking they might be Fane's,hard to say just a guess.Is that an early 80's photo?Interesting.Mel.

I posted this question on The Sunn Discussion Page because while I was confirming that the cabinets were not Marshalls, someone wrote that they thought they might be Sunn cabs.
Since this topic was moved from Q & A to General Discussion, I wonder if the consensus is that these are not Sunn cabinets.
You.  Yes, you.  Do you recognize these cabinets as NOT being Sunn cabinets?  Or, is there still a chance that they are Sunn?
I'd like to know.  So, please Reply!

  Hi there,from my experiance with Sunn gear over the last 38 yrs.,I'd have to say no,they are not Sunn cabs.Good luck,hope you find out what they are,Mel.

I too have never seen a cab from Sunn that looks like the ones in the pictures. There is always the chance that they were probably custom made for DL.

I have seen before some Fender old cabs with four 12" mounted like that.
Maybe these are Fender ?

  Hi there,I think you're thinking of the 4 x 12" bass cabs that went with the Bassman 100,or Super Bass.They were a little taller and were ported on the bottom.Wonder if we'll ever find out what these are? Mel.

The Bassman 100 had 4 speakers but the baffles were pyramid shaped, one speaker for each facet.

could they be trace elliot cabs? i know they made stange 3x12s kinda like that all angled. . . .
