Greg Anderson plays only Model T's. I know he's used original T's, and I think he may somehow be using the FMIC currently.
-
yea
how does he get that sound out of original model t's??
-
I don't know, that's just what I've read...but THAT sound on 'Innocent' from the first Goatsnake record!!! I mean, the entire album *smokes* but that riff just kicks my head in!
There was a magazine that was supposed to have interviewed Greg about his gear, among other things...pm me for the details
By the way...where IS the 'snake these days??
-
Greg Anderson uses a combination of three Sunn Model T's, a Sunn Beta Lead, and a Sunn Concert Lead. He hooks them all up through the pre-amp section of each individuel head, that's how he get's that deep full tone

A-MAZING
vintage? t's? ?

Yes he only uses the vintage T's along with Gibson Les Paul guitars, Proco Rat distortion ( I think the Rat2 ). You can find info. about Goatsnake at http://htt://www.southernlord.com
