« on: February 06, 2003, 09:31:52 pm »
hello, im wanting to use the vintage model t set at (16 ohms) with the reissue 4x12 cab (16 ohms) daisy chaining from that to the 410s cab(8 ohms) or from the 2nd speaker out on the model t..can i use this configuration  without blowing something up cause of the impedence difference???or maybe i could set the model t at 8 ohms and be safe?? im thinking this wouldnt work, but maybe it would..i dont know impedences really mess with me..any help would be appreciated!!!   hof

The combined impedance of those two cabs in parallel would be 5.34 ohms.  I would use the 4 ohm setting, plugging one cab into each of the speaker jacks on the head.

There might be a volume level difference between the two cabs.
