Beta IV Footswitch
« on: April 05, 2004, 06:11:01 pm »
Does anyone out there have a footswitch for my Beta Bass amp? For Sale? Trade? If not, is there a component layout for the switch? Also, shouldn't there be anther resistor ahead of CR3(green LED)? I found substitutes for the  1N458's(CR 4+5 respectively). NTE 125. I love my Beta Bass except for not being able to find a footswitch.

Hello;
 The schematic on this site is correct. Overall current is limited by the supply from the amp. The logic circuits in the amp measure the voltage. That's why the series diodes and resistors. Note: when you turn on "both" for example the switch is actually opening allowing current to flow through the yellow LED

I am looking for any sunn footswitch for my beta lead. Let me know how much you are wanting for yours. I have a tech that can wire the correct plug on if it needs to be changed out. Is the switch you have 2 or 3 buttons? Thanks, rgray71.... 8)

I've started to build one of my own. The Beta IV for my Beta Bass only has 2 switches.
