Yet another impedance question...

Okay, so I wanna run my '69 1200s through my 90's 4x12(16 ohm) & 4x15 magna (4 ohm) cabs. So should I just run the 4x12 out of the amps 8 ohm output & the 4x15 from the amps 4 ohm output? Seems right to me but I just wanna make sure Sure makes a cool looking rig, the half stack is the exact same height as the 4x15 & all with the matching silver grill cloth. I might have changed my mind about selling that magna cab

That would show the 4 ohm output tap 3.2 ohms, which is probably fine except for the fact that your 4X12 will only get about 20% of the amps power.

You could rewire the 4x15 cabinet for 16 ohms and then run both cabinets in parallel from the 8 ohm output.
