Title: Eurotubes Bias gizmo
Post by: Greg_M on February 16, 2011, 11:15:08 am
I bought this biasing gizmo and the cheap little multimeter from Eurotubes.

They give a nice generic demo video here

http://www.eurotubes.com/euro-Generic-Bias.htm (http://www.eurotubes.com/euro-Generic-Bias.htm)

At the bottom of that page they give bias values for various amps and for Sunn they give this notation

SUNN Solarus, 100S, 200S, 1000S, 2000S and model T's using KT88's (35 watts dissipation) all average about 510pv - 48 to 54mA.

Question for the more advanced of us here.....
What will the tone difference be between the low of 48 and the high of 54mA  ???

Check out the video it's pretty interesting
