Steppenwolf, Sunn, and Hef...
« on: June 29, 2011, 05:01:51 am »
Here's the real Austin Powers happening:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3PRV5JsTJg   Check out the four-nob 100s head on top of the JBL-loaded 200s cab. There might be a second Sunn cab right behind guitarist Michael Monarch's Fender Super Reverb, but it's hard to tell with the fuzzy video and groovy quick cuts. Yeah baby!  Also, here's another P.A.D. clip,   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FJ17x0IoKs   featuring the original(i.e. the only line-up that matters) Fleetwood Mac, with a Sunn 200s head on top of some Fender Showman cabs. Isn't it a bit ironic that Peter Green is performing his ode to masturbation at a Playboy party?
