Title: what should i do?

i have an old sunn 215 bass cab which i BELIEVE is a 215s but i'm not sure.  i am considering replacing the drivers with something capable of handling a little more power than 160w.

i wonder if anyone has any suggestions as far as some affordable high-quality 15' bass drivers.  or am i a madman for even considering replacing the beloved sunn drivers?

by the way i am considering doing this because i have an old kustom 215 which needs a new speaker and i thought i would just replace both 15's (with the 80w speakers from the sunn) and then sort of "beef up" the sunn215 with some more capable modern-day drivers...any suggestions welcome / appreciated :roll:

The main consideration would be the size/depth of the replacement speaker. There's only so much room in some models and it would sacrilegeous to hack the wood away (curse of the mummy and generally bad mojo upon you if you do). Open up the back, measure twice, buy once.
