Title: 200S: Looking for hardware
Post by: Greg_M on February 17, 2011, 11:14:52 am
Today's quest is for a handle and feet for the 200S amp head restoration.

It had only one foot left on it when I got it. It looks like this

Is this original? Can you still get them somewhere?

The handle looks like this

I have looked all over at parts supply houses and can only find the kind like Fender uses with the bolt that goes through from the top
Are these available anywhere? Or do I just have to settle for the Fender kind?

Thanks for looking

Those nasty plastic feet were original on my Studio Bass but my '71 Sorado has similarly shaped rubber feet. A fellow who does restoration work locally has a small supply of them. If you want, I can ask him where he gets them.

I can check, though I am certain that I may have a few those plastic feet laying around.I just recently replaced all the plastic feet on my cabinets to rubber.Which I got from Penn-El Com.Let me know if you are interested
