I inherited a Concert Controller 2 combo 8 channel mixer / Amp. Problem is that the power amp doesn't work, it puts out a loud hum. The mixer works fine with an external power amp but the internal amp just hums. Any Ideas?? I can't find any info on the transformer which might be the cause.

Hello,
 I located the schematics for that mixer and it looks like that hum is either a bad rectifier bridge or most likely the filter caps are bad.

Thanks I was ready to tear the power transformer out but I didn't know where to locate another one. I can check the caps and rectifier easier.
