Tom, your cabinets aren't the same size. What do you have there?

The cabinets under the Model T are stock Sunn 115 cabinets (fitted with EVMs).
The amp stack to the right is an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro head, a Sunn 115 cabinet with a JBL K140 and 5" "tweeter", and the lower cabinet is a custom pro 115 cabinet, 24 x 26 x 18 with a Gauss 5840 in it. This is the stack I usually use as it gives me a little more of everything.
Of course on the left is my "pet" '62 Fender Bassman.

Would any of you like to see a photo of my entire vintage Sunn collection?

Tom

I would definately like to see a photo of your collection. I'll be posting pics of my Spectrum II as soon I come up woth a little more cash to get it out of the shop...maybe by the end of the week. I can't seem to find any pics of a Spectrum II anywhere on the internet, so when I post my pics feel free to use them.

Awe c'mon, stop teasing us and post the pix! (Super nice bass too!)

P.S. I just found this site this morning. I dont have a SUNN but the second amp I ever owned was a SUNN Sarado 2-15. I put Altec Lansings in the cab and it was LOUD! I've been collecting Acoustic amps lately but I'd like to get something "sunny"....hummmm.

I'm glad you found the site, it seems harder to find and remember now the url isn't as memorable.

I don't mead to "tease" you about posting a phot of my entire Sunn collection, but it would require retrieving some cabinets and heads from a few friends, draging all of it to an exterior set-up, taking the photo and hauling it all back to where it had been stored.  That's the better part of a day! Then I would need help from someone, mabe Ryan once again, to post the photo as I don't have a photo server.
If there' enough interest, I'll do it.
My Sunn collection includes:
   3 Sunn 2-15 cabinets
   2 Sunn 1-15 cabinets
   2 Sunn Model T heads
   2 Sunn 200S heads
   2 Sunn stage monitors
   1 Sunn 118 cabinet
   1 Sunn Concert controller
   1 Sunn SA300 power amp
   2 Sunn small radial horns

   and a few PA tops...

BTW, have you ever seen the picture of the guy who collects Vox amps in the back of "The Vox Story"? It's a great shot. Pick up a copy of the book... its a really great resource... and who knows... you may just get motivated to snap a few shots!

suits you better  8)

I'm missing it already... good thing I'm getting my new tube head tomorrow

I went looking for something with at least 6x 6550 power AND a bufferable input for active basses...

I was hoping for a Sunn/Fender 300T but ended up with a deal I couldn't pass up on a Peavey Classic 400 (8x 6550)
clicky for picture

I'll be back though   :D
