Seattle Amp Techs
« on: July 10, 2011, 12:20:09 am »
Hey everyone,

My apologies if this should go in a different forum, but I'm looking for a tech in the Seattle area (or anywhere North of Seattle) to give my 2000s a good run over, ie new caps, grounding, new power cable, and generally just have it checked over. My most local guy didn't know anything about Sunns, and I'd prefer to find a tech who has some experience with Sunns. Maybe Verellen?

Thanks,
Dylan

I'm not from Seattle, but was going to buy an amp from someone in the area and he said that he brings his Sunn's to Aviator Audio.  Might be worth checking out.

Hi!
I can tune up your 2000S. I'm a member of this forum and have worked on dozens of Sunn tube amps. I currently own six, including a 2000s. I'm an hour North of Seattle. Send a PM or call me at 425.422.5227.

Thanks!
Ryan

Dylan, looks like Ryan can help you out.

If it doesn't work out for you, I am in the Portland area, as is Conrad Sundholm, the co-founder of Sunn. You can pm if you need to but I think Ryan has you covered.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the responses. As it turns out, I'm vacationing down in Oregon next week, so I've talked to Conrad, and he's going to take care of my baby. Ryan, thank you for your offer, I'm going to keep your number for future instances. Thanks everyone!

Looks like a perfect outcome Dylan! You'll like Conrad...he's a gem! I'd drop by and say hi but I'm overloaded with school at the moment.

Good luck to you!

Greg
