Concert Lead Distortion channel?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, my apologies in advance. I recently purchased a silver face concert lead, the reverb works w/o the foot switch but the distortion does not. Will one of the fender rca foot switches solve my problem? Or will it take more drastic measures? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

IIRC, the foot switches for the silver face Concert series were simple on-off switches. If that's the case, then the brand on the foot switch won't matter. Just as I use a Peavey foot switch with my Sentura II, the Fender switch should be fine.
