Beta Lead vs. Concert Lead
« on: June 21, 2016, 10:19:16 am »
I know that both the Beta Lead and Concert Lead amps are Solid State. I see that the Beta has a switchable 2-channel that can also be played simultaneously - where the Concert Lead seems to be a one at a time non-switchable channel.

I have seen videos (not the best for representing sound all the time) of both amps and they both sound huge and burly. I am looking at get one and I am hard pressed on which to get. I play metal; more Neurosis, Doom, Stoner, kind of stuff but with some cleans in there too.

I love the sound of both amps and I am just trying to get more information on the differences between them.

The Beta is more sophisticated, a newer design.  I'm sure others here have a better grasp on specific nuances between the two, but I think you pretty much summed it up in your post.
