610S wiring?
« on: August 18, 2009, 09:03:12 pm »
I recently got 3 Sunn Transducers to add to my other 3 Transducers for my 610S.  Unfortunatly I don't remember how it was wired.  Anyone remember?  After some trouble I showed it to my dad to see if he could help and he had some trouble figuring it out as well.  The cab is a 6 ohm cab with 8 ohm speakers.  If I remember correctly, as I am not at home right now, it's got a red wire and two black wires on one side and then two white wires on the other.  Anyone know if they're wired in seires, parallel, or series parallel?  I don't want to hook it up and play through it just to have it blow.

(Edit)-  Nevermind, I got it figured out.

Three pairs of drivers in series, for 16 ohms each pair. The three pairs in parallel.

Three pairs in parallel for 6 ohms?

Which wire(s) to positive and negative?  Sorry for such beginner-ish questions.  I just want to get it right and have never really done this before.
