Sunn coliseum 300 help

I just got my hands on a sunn coliseum 300 bass amp.  When I turned it on I got no signal from my bass and nothing but a hum from my cab.  The overload light is on.  it works as a power amp but the pre-amp isn't doing a thing.  I was wondering if anyone can help me with this.  I'm at witts end here :x   Thanks!

You can get the schematic and the manual from this site, that might help you trace the problem down.  Does the overload light just stay on? If it just stays on whenever you turn the power on, it might be something fried in the preamp or somewhere thereabouts.
