MORS
« on: April 21, 2009, 10:48:49 pm »
Well, my first post here and all, might as well post about my band.

www.myspace.com/morsnoise

Drum and bass stoner rock/doom.

76 Sunn Concert Bass
75 Sunn Concert Slave
Bag End 1x18 PA cab
Waller Amplification 4x12
Acoustic 2x15
Eden 4x10

Sometimes I set everything up like that, but lately it's been the 4x10/1x18 stack on the right like in the pic, with the 4x12 on the floor, amps on top of it, and the 2x15 stood up on the other side. More cabs on the floor seems to = feeling everything more.

Here is the setup I WAS running, until the Earth Amp in the picture started on fire.

I'm hoping to get my hands on another matching Concert Slave soon, so I can start running that Earth 2x15 again.

Got that second Concert Slave I was talking about. haha It's the middle amp, not that it matters much. Not sure what year it is, no sticker on the inside, but unlike my other two, the circuit board is marked with all the schematic info, so it's probably late 70's. Thing is in excellent shape.

Might eventually get a 6th cab, but not anytime soon.

You must be built like a brick shithouse by hauling all of those cabs to shows!

I'm not really in the best of shape, BUT, since starting this band, I've gotten in better shape from moving all these cabs. Since we're just a two piece, we help each other with everything, not just our own gear, and plus we always try to get a third person to come with us as a roadie. Other bands on shows are usually willing to help out too once they see how much shit we have, so it's not really that bad.

Wow that's a serious kit.

I'm listening to your myspace and I love it!

Reminds me of Om but with your own touch.

keep it up!
