Yeah, I think so.
On lives videos, Chris Kosnik used to play on GK stuff or Ampeg.
I don't look at recent live videos stuff, but I hope he plays on Sunn now
New album of TAB at the end of the month, can't wait!

I think it's a Japanese model, I'd read an interview of Chris Kosnik where he talked a little about his gear.
I'll try to find this interview.

The interview I was talking about was on the Stonerrock website, so...  :|
I find another one, but nothing about gear : http://www.guypetersreviews.com/interviewck.php

Aye, it does look like OTM, and I know Japan makes (well, USED) to make such a Jazz with matching headstock, but it was a 75 RI and had blocks and binding. That's why I was wondering if this was a CS job. Either way, beautiful instrument, I'm on the search for a OTM 75 RI at the moment, so that's probably why I like it so much.

I think for certain it's a CIJ '62 Reissue Jazz, might be Ocean Turquoise; it's real hard to tell with the filters, but I think it's LPB. It looks like both to me depending on the shot.
I know they offered the Japan '62 reissue (not blocked and bound, VVT) in both colors with matching headstocks, and I know the actual tint varies pretty greatly from bass to bass.
I had a MIA '62 Reissue Jazz in LPB (stacked knobs, no painted headstock) side by side with a LPB CIJ and the Japan bass was much "bluer", my MIA had more gray/silver in it.

Whatever it is, she's a beaut!

I actually initially thought it WAS Lake Placid Blue, that's why I said CS, because I've seen a few LPB w/ Matching heads that were Relic'd that looked very similar. Very cool that they did, I'd love to find those, never seen one. Ed, that 62 sound beautiful! I'd love to find a stacked one in LPB, I actually saw one in Dakota Red, and my head nearly exploded it was so amazing. And agreed, a BEAUTIFUL instrument. I played a 75 in OTM a while back, and I've become a bit obsessed with finding one. An amazing instrument.

they pop up on this site every once in a while in the U-Box, http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/eng/

you have to spend at least 60000 yen (approx $585) + shipping though to even order from here.

There is also a Mustang Bass w/a racing stripe in OTM on there thats available new.
