Concert Bass

Hello friends! I have 2 black face Concert Bass amps and 1 silver face with Concert Slave. Does anyone out there know what year they switched to the black face 200w? It seems that this particular model has very little info on it. This is a great site btw! I hope cats are still posting on here.....

Still a few people around.

I don't know the answer to your question, but a quick look at the catalog thread tells me that the Concert Bass was silver and 150 watts in 1975, black and 200 watts in 1979. So, the best I can say is after 1975, but no later than 1979.

I think the changeover took effect in 1975. My silver face was a '74 that I bought new in Jan '75. The very next catalogue that I got showed the new graphic style with the black/white/red motif and the colored Sunn((O)))) logo.
