Love to have one (but where would I put it?).

It's Sunn's version of (answer to?) Fender's Twin Reverb. IIRC, the preamp is similar to that of the original Model T, with the addition of reverb. The power amp is Sunn's traditional 2x6550 60 watt amp. Two 12" Sunn Transducers. I seem to recall seeing it in the 1974 catalog, but it's not in the 1979 catalog.

Of course, I could be wrong.

It's not in the 74 catalog. The one on Craig's list has red center knobs like the 2nd gen Model T which makes it sometime after 74.

mighty unicorn..was reading the banter on your a 2-12..i have th e sunn catalogs up until 1975...your amp didn't show up until the 75 catalog..it wasn't in the 74 cats and back..up until then sunn called the 2-12 version the solos II... now...the 75 catalog has your amp rated at 100 watts rms....200watts peak....they didn't really have a lot of info on the page but if you email your address...i have a copy of the page made and i'll send it to you if you want...smiles   Bob from mass
