weird noise...

... coming from my 75 model T. I noticed a "click" sound whilst playing through it one day, didnt notice a volume decrease or tone change.. then today when i fired it up it did it again a couple times.. it sounds like it's coming from near the pilot light/transformer. the tubes are still glowing, and i havent noticed anything faulty. is it worth taking to a tech or is it probably something that just comes with the age? It doesn't happen often btw

perhaps I was a bit vague, it happened again today once I flipped the standby switch to turn on the amp.. It made a clicking noise in rapid succession for a second, then played fine.. The tubes I have are four svetlana 6550's that aren't too old. The amp just had a full service a few months back frmo the guy I bought it from... any ideas?? any feedback helps.

Could be arcing - check and see if there are any dark/burn marks on any components/wires in the vacinity of the noise - amp is UNPLUGGED during this visual check - right.

Yeah I gotta open it up anyways and tighten up the plug. Yeah I'm way paranoid about being shocked so I make sure the amp is off for a few days before I even decide to open it. Haha, nah, no brother man
