Vintage Sunn Coliseum Bass Amp ???
« on: January 07, 2007, 11:04:41 pm »
Newbie on deck here.

I have an old Sunn Coliseum Bass amp that I bought used in 1980 -- 'bout the same time I bought my Moog Taurus pedals, LOL.  Okay, so I was a Geddy Lee freak with a 4001 Rickenbacher to go with it.

Anyway, I don't know much of anything about this amp other than it works wonderfully, has four bands of EQ, Mixer Input, Pre-Amp Output, two speaker outs, etc.  Theres no model number anywhere, but the serial number looks like "MM 949176"

Does anyone know what the output of this old boy is?  What type of modern speaker cabinets would be optimal to use with it?  I'm picking up the bass after playing the keys for a long time, and wonder if this old amp is useable.

Out of mere curiosity, does this old guy have any value after all these years?

Thanks in advance!
