Sunn Cab 215B impedance speakers?
« on: September 22, 2012, 04:41:43 am »
Hi all,

I use a Sunn Concert Bass with a 215B cab.
In the rear of the cab it's indicate "impedance 4 ohms for 160w rms".
By searching on the net, it seems it is two speakers with 60w rms for 8 ohms?
Can you tell me if it's correct?

I would like to combine a 4*10 Ampeg with one 15 of the 215B cab if it's possible.

Thanks.

It's probably two 8 ohm speakers that are rated for 80 watts apiece, or at least that would be most likely what it left the factory with assuming that no one has changed them over the last few decades.
The only way to tell what are in there for sure is to look at them.

Thanks,
I think are those original ones. I'll look at them.
I also question on my Sunn head. It's the one with two entry(brite, normal), four red and black knobs and the switch brite.
Is this the 200w for 2 ohms and 160w for 4 ohms?
