Bummer.

It has been a great site while it lasted.  Thank you sunn for starting it up and keeping it going for so long.  It will be missed.

Good luck to everyone and may we meet on another site.

Joe

That really stinks, I'm sorry to hear it.  This site has been a wonderful service to a lot of people who might not have ever been able to keep their favorite amps running. I've enjoyed helping whoever I could, and I'm grateful for the advice I've recieved. Good luck to all.

I enjoy old Sunn stuff, tube and solid state, I have a Concert Bass, Concert slave, 1200s (4X6550, dual rectifier) Concert PA, Studio PA, and an old Acoustic 360 2X15 cab but with Sunn Speakers)

Rock On!!

Thanks very much Sunn for keeping the site going all this time. If there would be some way to move it somewhere else and still keep all the info that has been gathered here, it would be great! I don't like yahoo groups very much myself, but if no other options come forward, then maybe that might be a good home for awhile. Are you interested in seeing it continue outside of your purvue Sunn?

I have thoroughly enjoyed viewing this site even though I didn't understand most of the technical electrical stuff.  Your comments
are helpful and will be missed.  Best to you and hope you are
around again soon.
Sunn 2000S bass head with (2) 2x15 cabs with JBL speakers.  Fender Jazz bass Special is primary bass with a 61 Hofner Cavern Bass as backup.  Also have an Ampeg B-15n flip top amp as well.

I say just set it up on one of those freeservers like invisionfree.com or proboards.com

As for all the info, thats going to be a doozy to save.  Maybe someone knows of a large site that could hold the info?

I'ts not perfect but if you wanna start over again once this site is finished with I set up a proboards site sunn0.proboards107.com. Please post there once it's over with here, I think it's important to have somewhere to get descent info from. If anyone decides to maintain this site in the end, I will delete the proboards site
