Sunn Model T head
« on: May 23, 2006, 07:03:08 am »
Hi everyone- First time on this link.
I inherited a Sunn Model T head from my family several years ago.  I think it was purchased in the early 1970's.  The front of the amp was painted black, and I don't know what the 5 inputs represent.
I play the electric bass and have used this amp a couple of times with my Ampeg B15 bottom.  Very old school sound.
Thanks

There are only three inputs. The bottom two are intended as outputs. The top left is Bright in, top right is Normal in, and the middle one is both in.

Thank you Isaac!
Care to venture an estimate on its value?  I had new tubes installed several years ago, but they haven't had much playing time.  I've taken it out for a couple of small dance jobs and it always worked just fine.
Thanks

The accurate but sarcastic answer is that it's worth whatever someone will pay you for it.

A more useful answer is that they seem to be going for $700-$1000 on ebay these days.
