Differences between the 60s Amps
« on: May 20, 2021, 07:37:24 am »
Hi,

Does anyone have any information on the differences between the 60's amps (Sentura, Sonic, Spectre, Spectrum, Sonoro)? I have only seen pictures of the amps, which look a lot alike. It looks like the main differences are the cabinets paired with them.. Are there any differences between the 100S, 200S, 1000S, 2000S?

Any references / links would be helpful.

You pretty much hit it on the nose. In most cases, if the features are the same, then the amp is the same. In some cases, the amp might have a different poser section, with some amps being 40 watts, some 60, but usually it's the speakers. For instance, I have a Sceptre and a Sentura II. The amps are identical, the only difference being the speakers they came with originally. A Sentura I would be the 40 watt version.
