It was inevitable of course, but still a drag. Keep in mind that in the 'Doug Yule' era, the Velvet Underground were Sunn poster children, literally...

I saw Lou in 1973 on the Transformer tour, and his back-up band, The Tots, had a wall of Coliseum stacks.
