Title: Early vs. Later Tremolo Photocell Bug wiring?

Can anyone shed any light on the two variants of the tremolo bug/roach wiring on the 100s/200s/S*** amps?  SUNN seems to have changed the design in 1968 or 1969.

I've attached the two versions on the wiring that I see on the various schematics.

Any insight into the change or timeline of the change would be appreciated!
