Funny to see this clip after having watched the Joan Jett clips in which the (Record company??)
guys says that they are going to make history as the first Girl Rockers!!

Suzi Quatro(the lead singer)later took up bass and had a big career in the UK during the glam-rock years. She was Joan Jett's biggest inspiration. Remember that Donovan single, 'Barabajagle'? No? It wasn't a huge hit, but the original Jeff Beck Group was the back-up band, and Suzi was one of the back-up vocalists.

"So what's the unit on top of the amp on the right? Reverb?"

It looks like a Fender Echo/Reverb unit from Fender's ill-fated '68 foray into solid state gear. Like this:

One of the first genius moves from CBS. I once played thru one of the wedge-shaped Bassman heads(also seen in the '68 catalog)with the tiny speaker cabs, just awful. It had some sort of limiter/protection circuit with a red light that came on when you pushed the amp too hard, it didn't take me anytime at all to get that glowing. THEN, a couple years later, they issued even worse SS amps with the zodiac names, anyone remember them?
