Was watching Cheech & Chong up in smoke the other night, during the battle of the bands performance. Spotted a Sunn 412L (maybe a 610S) in the background  8-)

Is that a Concert PA head that he's playing through, in that last shot?

No, I believe that is an Orion preamp. They have the same kind of aesthetics.

There,s a pretty good video of the Who playing Emenence Front on YouTube.  It's by Stan3.  Townshend and Entwhistle are walking across the stage an the bass set up looks to be 3  4x12 cabs ecah on top of an older 118BH.

Haha, that's pretty neat. I do know for a fact they used solid state stuff A LOT, especially Peavey's. Ginn HATED what tubes did to his guitar sound. Pretty sure Dukowski was using an all solid state rig for a while as well. Even so, I think you're right and it's probably not theirs.

Yeah. I stumbled upon a forum full of knowledge of Greg's solid state rig. Unfortunately it's no longer in my search history... :/

I have seen a picture though where Dez Cadena was using a full stack topped with either a red knob Concert Lead or a Coliseum Lead/880. I'm on the hunt for it, I have three books back at home that are chock full of pics of the 'Flag, next time I'm there, I'lll try to find it and scan it in.
