Hi guys. Good to be somewhat back after a year and 3 month absence due to surgery gone wrong. Lots of things I have issues with physically, but nothing to deter my love of gear and music.
I've checked thru my Sunn informational file, but did not find an answer to a current guestion that I have.
I looking for some sort of way to identify the approximate change in style of the speaker cab logo thru the years. That's the only that I don't a good handle at the moment. Any helpers that can get me up tp speed on this :-) will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm surprised that you haven't received a reply on this as yet. I don't have much knowledge on the subject, so can't be of much help.

Here's a picture with the 4 earliest logos. I cannot place dates on them with confidence. I know there are articles in the forum that should pop up with a search for SUNN LOGO. Maybe between them and the pictures some order can be determined. People would change them sometimes too so having a cab or amp with a particular log is probably not a guarantee of correctness.
I don't know of any definitive documentation on the topic.
I found this from a thread where Loudthud responded..."The Sunn badges or logo plates have gone through several changes over the years. Do a search and you can find threads where I have pictures of different examples. Hard to see in your pictures but it looks like there is a small R in a circle between the letters Sunn and the (o))) symbol. The (R) means Registered trademark. Before 1969 there was no (R)."
