Looking for a Sunn cabinet
« on: June 01, 2009, 04:28:07 pm »
Hello,
First post here.  I have a '68 2000S head.  It came with no cabinet, so I run it through an early '70s 215S cabinet.  This looks kind of silly, because the head is 30" wide and the 215S is only 24".
I'd like to find either the correct 30" wide 2000S cabinet, or another 24" wide Sunn cabinet to set next to my current one.  The second 24" cabinet could be a 2X15, 4X12, or 6X12- I will consider all configurations.  The head and cabinet I have now both have silver grille cloth and logos, so I'd like something to match.
I am located in Elkins, WV and it would be nice to find something fairly close by.
Thanks,
Andy FitzGibbon

Saw that one, though it's on the other side of the country and they say no shipping.  A little bit more than I want to spend anyway.
Thanks,
Andy

Wow....hate to say that I JUST sold TWO clean 2000S cabs w/D140F-6's (with the silver Fender-ish grills) in them a little over a month ago...AND shipped them cross-country.

IF you find a seller....they CAN go FedEx Ground with them but you need a commercial/business adresss or else they are over the weight limit. Get a local store to accept shipment for you and use their address.

Sorry I missed them, and thanks for the shipping advice.  We have a UPS account at work and can also accept FedEx, so I'm sure I could get them shipped there if I had to.
I've got a lead on one not all that far away, but haven't heard back from the guy in a while.
Thanks,
Andy
