Price Check - Sunn Model 8 Speakers

I have a chance to pick up a pair of Sunn Model 8 speakers for $100.  Cosmetically they are a bit rough but I'm told that they are completely functional.  Is this a decent price?  Anything to look out for on this particular model?  Any advice is greatly appreciated.

$100 for a pair of solid speakers is nothing to scoff at.  If they're pretty rough, offer $75 and see what happens.  Worst case scenario, you pay $100 if you want them, or you just walk away! :)

A pair of Model 8's for $100?!

I'd definitely take advantage of that.
