Can anyone tell me the specs on your Model T mains fuse?  Thanks!!!

The 70's Model T didn't have a fuse, it had a push button circuit breaker. The circuit breakers eventually fail and are replaced with a fuse because the circuit breakers are somewhat difficult to find. For 120V North American mains, a 5 Amp slow blow will probably work. You need to find one that fits the fuse holder. Remember, the job of a fuse is not to protect the amp, it's job is to protect the house from burning down because the amp died.

Thanks, no circuit breaker in this old fella.  I found another Model T owner that uses 7A 250v slow blow fuses with no issues.  I ordered an assortment to try--5, 6.25, 7.

A fuse or circuit breaker that is too large will not cause a problem. However, when a problem occurs, it won't savethe amp, or your house. Ideally, the interrupting device should be as small as possible without interfering with operation.

This schematic calls for a 7 amp circuit breaker.
