Title: Running Sunn Alpha Slave with older Marshall head???

I have a question about running the Sunn Alpha Slave with an older Marshall JCM 800 - can you go from the Marshall's speaker outputs to the slave then to the cabinet? Or do you have to have a line out, direct out, etc?

Line out or effects send. If you use the speaker out, you'll kill the Marshall and probably the Sunn as well. Only plug speaker outs into a speaker cabinet. The signal you send to the Slave should be unpowered.
