Hi there,no I think he's playing through what appears to be 6, 2 x 15" cabs,Fender Dual Showman's they look like to me.You can see the Fender logo when the camera zooms in.Also,the Fender head up on the last cab. on the right,and you can see 2 more tucked in the space between the cabs,Showman heads I believe.Doesn't matter to me,I love Jimi through any amp,good luck,Mel.

That's Fender gear. He did play Sunn briefly (I've heard that they were too clean for him, and also that Sunn was tired of getting amps back with Stratocaster necks stuck through them), but not in those clips.

there 'used' to be many a pix of JIMI usin SUNN on the web. not so much anymore. i have two very nice stage shots, framed that i found long time ago...
but on this poorly synced(sp?) video there are glimpses of SUNN cabs and at 2 minutes SUNN amps:

McKinnon Audio is correct, the Cabs are the 70's Dual Showman with JBL D130F speakers, The head at the end is the older Dual Showman type, I'm not sure that it even has reverb. Usually the DS with reverb was in a taller cab.
