Title: What cab goes with a 1200s?

I'm not even going to try to get a Sunn cab. I've decided to order speakers and an empty cab to build it myself. What kind of speakers do you recommend for this type of amplifier? My instinct is to go for ones with clean tone to get the best distortion out of the amplifier, but I'm not sure if it works that way.

It's really up to your ears.  I know people who insist on Marshalls, but I think most of them are pretty much garbage. Getting a Sunn cabinet really isn't that far-fetched, though.  I'd recommend the 612s if you can come across one.  Otherwise, folks on here are always selling stuff.  Post a wanted advert in the classifieds section, and see what comes of it!
