Title: Sunn Tube Combos, how many are there?
Post by: biltmore on January 08, 2010, 02:30:13 am
What other combos did Sunn manufacture that were tube powered? All I know of is the Model A 212. It's the only 2x12" combo that I know of that has tubes.

Hi there, originally the Sunn Sonaro and the Sunn Solarus were one piece combos, later to be made into the two piece "piggy back" style, around 68' I think,Mel.

You know, I've looked at one of the old brochures before ... and I never really noticed that these guys were combos. Sneaky design right there!  :-D

So the only Sunn tube combos are the Solarus 2x12", Sonaro 1x15", and the Model A 212?

There was a combo version of the Enforcer in 1985.

Solarus - 2x12"
Sonaro - 1x15"
A212 - 2x12"
Enforcer - 2x12" (?)

Just 4 tube combos? That's a damn shame.

yes.  I have one.  anyone have an idea how many were produced?  I read on here that 150 or so were made of the enforcer but I always wondered what % of those were the combos?
