?A week later, it starts making this insane voltage sound (almost like the proton packs in the first ghostbusters movie), almost like a speaker is bad, and cuts out a bit soundwise. It over takes at least 75% of the sound.?

Did you find out what was causing this?

Q & A / Early vs. Later Tremolo Photocell Bug wiring?

Can anyone shed any light on the two variants of the tremolo bug/roach wiring on the 100s/200s/S*** amps?  SUNN seems to have changed the design in 1968 or 1969.

I've attached the two versions on the wiring that I see on the various schematics.

Any insight into the change or timeline of the change would be appreciated!

I'm backkkk! I found the invoice from Rogan for the 500 unit build I did in 2008 - wow that was long ago. I also found about 30 knobs from that build so if you want any let me know they sure won't be $19 though.

DIY / Re: Sentura II Restoration - Tremolo Bug/Roach Replacement Photocell

Had a few minutes and added a few more changes to the Sentura II schematic.  Just updated it to reflect the 3-prong wiring, updated the input jack wiring and added the mid-boost switch (3PST) in addition to the dual bias pots and probe points.

The 2nd attachment is the "corrected" Sentura II schematic I've been working from. 

I think I have the Sluckey bias mod changes correct now in the schematic (http://sluckeyamps.com/sunn/sunn.htm).  If anyone notices any errors please point them out.  Thanks in advance.
