We recently purchased at auction a lot of gear from an old music shop near us and found a pretty clean set of Sunn M6 two-way pa speakers. The 15" drivers are model 558's. the foam is gone but the driver still works!!
Before we gut these and replace the drivers I thought i'd get an opinion here as some sunn gear is highly sought by collectors.
Any opinions??

I can't find any reference to a Sunn product named "M6". There was a Model 6 PA speaker with 1x15 inch woofer and a horn in the 79 and 82 catalogs. Probably not worth much unless they are BMWs. (Sports sedan or convertable with a V10 engine.)

If the woofers had a foam suspention, that can be replaced for less than the cost of a recone.

thanks for the info from the rear panel label Sunn (O))))) model 6 m

would not typically repair these as the power handling is too low for current setups, we will just gut them and use the boxes.
