Late 70s/early 80s Beta Bass Head
« on: February 25, 2015, 07:22:40 pm »
Making a quick pass-through of a pawn shop in the town that I was working in today, I saw this head with the red knobs and in pretty good condition with $125.00 marked on it.  Unfortunately, my time was so short, that's all that I got to do was look.  If it works properly, I'm guessing that's a decent deal, particularly assuming that they would deal some on the marked price.  I could actually use the cord wraps and a couple of knobs on a same era Coliseum. A bit of a trip back to where it is, but not too bad.  In any event, I wanted to see what you guys thought.  Thanks.

If it's fully functional and particularly if it has the factory foot switch, I'd say that's a no-brainer 'bigo!

Thanks EB.  I pretty much was thinking that.  In my brief look over, I didn't notice a foot switch though.  Maybe after the snow leaves, I can go back and investigate more.  Thanks again.

Got a chance to check this out in detail today.  No foot switch.  Obvious internal issues when I tried to play it.  PS's "best" price was $90.  I past.
