WTB: Sunn Studio Bass
« on: April 24, 2016, 02:20:58 pm »
Hey all,

Bit of a shot in the dark, I know, but I'm on the lookout for a Sunn Studio Bass, the 1x15 combo from the 1st era of Sunn management. I know it's not considered the end-all, be-all for bass tone, but the sound of a shallow cab works really well for my current project. Plus I always got a thing for 60-70s solid state tone.

Obviously, my offering price will depend on condition, but I can offer a more-than-fair price based on the research I've done of the few I've found sold online through various outlets. I know that they're aren't a ton of these floating around, but, if you have one collecting dust, you can get it to someone who will use it and use it well. Thanks for reading!

Cian

No longer looking for Sunn Studio Bass. I just bought a Sunn Concert Bass head (Hartzell era, Mexican version) and will try out cabs until I find the right pairing to bring out that Sunn solid state tone I'm looking for...
